1. Acceptance of these terms

The website waterdamagerestorationdelaware.com (the "Site") is operated by Muhammad Aamir Siddiqui ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the Site, or calling a phone number shown on it, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Our referral service

The Site provides information about water damage and a phone number you can call to reach an independent water damage restoration contractor who serves covered ZIP codes in northern New Castle County, Delaware. When you call, your call is connected to a contractor who accepts work in your area, and you speak with that contractor on the same call.

Contractors are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, partners or joint venturers, and we do not direct or control how they perform their work. We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available at a particular time or at your address, and coverage can change without notice.

We may receive compensation in connection with referrals. That compensation does not change the price the contractor quotes you, and you are never obligated to hire any contractor.

3. Agreements with contractors

Any estimate, contract, payment, permit, warranty or guarantee for work on your property is solely between you and the contractor. We are not a party to that agreement and are not responsible for its terms or its performance.

Before work begins, you are responsible for confirming the contractor's license, insurance, price, scope of work, permit responsibilities and warranty terms. Delaware requires businesses to hold a state business license from the Division of Revenue, and plumbing or electrical work that is part of a repair is licensed through the Division of Professional Regulation; ask the contractor which licenses apply to your job.

4. Information on this Site

Articles, guides, tables and answers on the Site are general educational information about water damage, drying and cleanup. They are not professional, engineering, legal or safety advice for your specific situation. Building codes, permit rules, utility programs and product specifications change, and every home is different.

We work to keep information accurate and cite sources where possible, but we do not warrant that any content is complete, current or error-free. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your equipment and the advice of a licensed professional who has inspected it.

5. Safety and emergencies

Water damage can involve live electrical circuits, contaminated floodwater or sewage, weakened ceilings and floors, and mold. Do not enter standing water where outlets or cords may be submerged, and do not attempt work you are not qualified to perform. If you smell natural gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or have a fire, leave immediately and call 911 and your gas utility from outside.

The Site and its phone line are not an emergency service. Response times depend on independent contractors and are not guaranteed.

6. Calls: a call-in service only

We do not make outbound calls, send texts or emails, or pass your details to anyone so that they can contact you. Anything arranged after your call, such as a visit or a written quote, is agreed directly between you and the contractor during your conversation.

Calls may be routed through a call-tracking provider and, where permitted by law, monitored or recorded for quality and dispute resolution. If a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start of the call. Standard carrier rates may apply to your call.
